1. Application & Approval Process
All schools must complete an online application. Upon submission, you will receive a School Application Code and a quotation. Your application status will be one of:
- PENDING_PAYMENT – Waiting for payment
- PAID – Payment received, pending final approval
- APPROVED – Account activated
- REJECTED – Application declined
2. Payment & Invoicing
2.1 Payment Methods
Schools may pay via:
- Online Payment: Through Broadpay Zambia Limited integrated gateway (automatic activation upon success).
- Manual Payment: Bank transfer or mobile money. Proof of Payment (PoP) must be sent to support@dtechzm.com.
2.2 Invoicing
Each approved school receives an invoice_serial and quotation_serial. These are digitally signed and automated. Retain them for your records.
3. Account Activation Timeline
- Business Days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays): Activation within 4 hours of confirmed payment or receipt of valid Proof of Payment.
- Weekends & Public Holidays: Activation may be delayed. We will process as soon as staff return.
- Subscription Start Date: The effective date of your subscription is the activation date/time, not the payment date.
4. Subscription & Payment Obligations
4.1 Recurring Fees
Schools subscribe to a plan (requested_plan_id). Fees are due according to the agreed schedule.
4.2 Failure to Pay
If any subscription payment fails or is not made by the due date:
- Your school's access to Dtechzm services will be immediately suspended or terminated.
- After 30 days of non-payment, all school data may be permanently deleted.
4.3 Proof of Payment Required
We reserve the right to request Proof of Payment before activating or renewing any school account.
5. Chargebacks & Disputes
As a merchant under Broadpay Zambia Limited, we incur fees for chargebacks.
- Unauthorized Chargeback: Your school's service will be suspended immediately. A $15 (or ZMW equivalent) administrative fee will be added.
- Dispute Resolution: Contact us first at support@dtechzm.com before initiating any bank dispute.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
